Playdate with Patrick
Swimmimg Lessons!
Elise started swimming lessons! She didn't really enjoy it the first day. She had just gotten her six month shots and hand't had a nap that day. Scott stuck it out the whole time, even with the screaming! After that first day, she loved it! Scott enjoys dunking her under the water (of course) and Elise loves playing with the water toys. She will be ready for Hawaii in no time!
Sitting Up!
Trip to Sarah's Cabin
March 2007-Update of Events
March was a busy month for the us. Scott started a new job, I got my real estate license, ,Elise got two teeth, started solids, and mastered sitting up on her own! She loves bananas, prunes, and oatmeal. She is not yet a fan of veggies (can't blame her, either is her mom).
Scott is now working in downtown Sumner, and no longer commuting to Bellevue. We are very excited to have him around more, and he is excited about the new opportunity he has with his new company. I got my real estate license, and am hanging my license with real estate usa. I am excited to be able to get out of the house a bit without having to put Elise in daycare.
Elise has been growing and growing. At her 6 month appt. in March, she was 18 lbs, 1 oz. She is at about the 90th percentile for both height and weight. She has discovered her voice, and enjoys laughing and most recently, screaming! Her whole body tenses up and shakes when she gets excited. She absolutely LOVES dogs. Just watching them gets her laughing histerically and her arms waving! Her other favorite thing to play with...paper! She loves to crinkle it, and of course put it in her mouth. Why do I even bother buying her toys?
Elise had more tests for her VUR at Children's Hospital this month. She is doing well, although the specialist there changed her diagnosis, and the level of relux is a little more severe than we thought. She continues to be on daily antibiotics to help prevent any breakthrough infections. We are still hoping and praying she will grow out of this without any problems. She is doing great and continues to be a happy and healthy baby!
On March 10th, Elise was dedicated at Calvary Community Church. Grandma and Grandpa Robbert, Great Grandma Mimi came over the mountains to be part of this special day. After the service, both sides of the family headed to Endochine in Tacoma for dinner. Elise was very overtired but happy. She continues to enjoy being the center of attention :).
Aunt Emily and Jeremy got married at the end of March. They had a small family ceremony at a chapel in Puyallup. They will be having a big reception for family and friends in June. We are all looking forward to another party! We are very happy for them, and look forward to getting to know Jeremy better.
